Wayne Hartung graduated from the University of South Alabama, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. While matriculating, Mr. Hartung was already focused on success, forming his first company, Hartung Commercial Properties, as a sophomore. The company’s business model, which remains in operation to this day, is to purchase residential rental properties and sell them when the market dictates. In his role as President, Wayne Hartung quickly steered the company to profitability and was recognized for his business prowess shortly after graduation.
Wayne Hartung is also the President of Marshall Auto Paint and Collision, which maintains corporate headquarters in Mobile, AL, and has branch facilities in other states as well. Mr. Hartung takes his customers’ satisfaction seriously, ensuring that each client has the best possible experience, and he makes certain to keep his staff up-to-date on recent changes in the industry. As a testament to this, Wayne offers a variety of options depending on his customers’ needs and budget. Equipped with the latest technology, the workshop includes its own paint booth, frame machines, and measuring system.

Through his efforts, ten of thousands of dollars have been raised to help support Babies First and the United Methodist Children’s Home. He has received numerous awards and recognition for his charitable contributions, involvement, and fundraising efforts to help children with economic challenges.
Mr. Hartung has also been the recipient of numerous awards in both Alabama and Florida, including a 2004 Ronald Reagan Gold Medal Award for business leadership and outstanding achievement. He has received a National Republican Committee Leadership Award in 2003, as well as recognition in a Presidential Who’s Who for his professional excellence. In fact, his innate business acumen led to him being appointed a small business representative by NRCC Chairman Tom Delay.
